Full-Time Daily Nanny (Kensington)

We have a fantastic role available for a loving, organised and proactive Nanny who will care for three children, girl 9 months, boy 3 years old and boy 5 years old. The eldest child attends school and the 3 year old attends Nursery full-time. The family have a cleaner/Housekeeper, leaving the Nanny to focus on the children. This is a sole charge, permanent role and the family are looking for a Nanny who would be happy to stay long term in the role.

Start Date: September 2019 (Some flexibility for the right candidate)

Days and Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 6:30 or 8am – 7pm

Salary: £40, 997- £47,700 Gross per annum (Depending on hours worked, skills and experience)


The parents will usually drop the eldest children at school and nursery, leaving the Nanny to concentrate on the baby for the majority of the day. The Nanny would be asked to plan educational and stimulating age appropriate activities for the youngest child during the day, to include activities at home as well as play dates, local classes and trips to the local park. The Nanny would then pick the boys up from school and nursery, support with homework and provide a healthy meal for the children. In the school holidays, the Nanny would take the children out on fun and educational outings, as well as taking them to any holiday clubs they may have.


-        A minimum of five years childcare experience with children of similar ages

-        Experience must include a minimum of 2-3 years as a Nanny

-        Experience must include sole charge of at least two children at a time

-        Baby experience is essential, particularly knowledge and experience around sleep routines and


-        Knowledge of the EYFS and the ability to support with children’s development

-        DBS

-        Paediatric First Aid

-        Excellent English skills


Role would suit:

This role would suit a Nanny who is warm and affectionate with children and who is also able to be firm and put boundaries in place and manage the routines that are already in place. The family are looking for a loving, organised, tidy and proactive Nanny with a muck in attitude who is looking to stay long term and grow with the family.

The family are looking for a Nanny with a clear understanding of the weaning stage and will be able to support and advise with this. It’s also very important that the Nanny has awareness of what constitutes a healthy, varied diet and be happy to cook fresh food for the children on a regular basis.
